6.2.5.1. Reason For Visit (0032,1066)

Reason for visit is an optional tag that would typically come from the appointment type of the software that is managing appointments.

This tag can contain a character string that may contain one or more paragraphs, and is considered as “unlimited”. The actual limit is two bytes shy of 4GB. Refer to DICOM Value Representation (VR) for more details.
